About Me

Hi, I’m Caryn, nicknamed ‘Care Bear’ by my grandma, and ‘Care’ by close friends.

I live in Colorado, which has felt like home from the very first time I visited in 2001. I spent a week with my sister who was a student at Colorado University (Buffs!), and I couldn’t believe the beauty of the mountains, the incredible year-round weather, or the very active, outdoors lifestyle. Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, I finally made the move to Colorado in 2013, and have lived here ever since, except for two brief stints living in:

• Taipei, Taiwan for a year with my now husband, Andrew

• Ventura, California for a few years to work for Patagonia and check out the California scene

Andrew and I are now officially rooted in Colorado and are loving life with our adorable pup, Izzy, and our kitty, Nora.
